The katana commands a minimal design with a classic bronze tsuba (handguard), hiding an impressive illustration of two samurai fighting with naginata, one on horseback and the one standing.

DESCRIPTION:

This traditional katana has the following features:

-      The blade is hand forged from high quality 1060 carbon steel with a brushed finish, proving easy to clean and resistant to both scratching and rust.

 

-      A sturdy full tang construction blade that is semi-sharpened with one mekugi peg. 

 

-      Confers a white rayskin handle detailed with a black cloth wrap and matte black accents making it both classy and comfortable to hold.

 

-     Handguard (tsuba) is made of high-quality zinc alloy in a bronze colour with two brass spacers (seppa) securing the blade along with a black blade collar (habaki).

 

- Handguard comes with a special embossed design, front and back, of two samurai fighting each other in war with naginata, showing the art of war “Senjutsu”.

 

- Lacquered hardwood scabbard in a matte black finish.

 

- Scabbard (saya) also comes tied with a traditional black sageo knot tied around the knob (kurikaka) of the scabbard.

 

-      Comes with a complementary black sword stand, making it easy to display, giving you the chance to create a collectibles corner if you don’t already have one!

 

-      Katana weighted at a comfortable but sturdy 1.345 kg with the scabbard (1.145kg without).

 

- Scabbard weighs 0.200 kg and measures at 76cm in length and 4cm in width.

 

-      Katana itself measures at an impressive 102 cm in length with the handle having a length of 30 cm (105cm with scabbard) blade also has a thickness of 6mm and hand guard (tsuba) measures at 8cm diameter.
